Events Terms & conditions (please read prior to booking)

  1.  Booking Agreement:  By booking any event with S.P.R.Cymru, participants agree to all terms and conditions.  Participants indemnify S.P.R.Cymru from and against all liability in respect of any cost, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or death of any person, or damage to any property arising from participation in the activity.
  2. Any Health and Safety aspects relating to the event will be explained at the start of the event and must be adhered to at all times.  S.P.R.Cymru will not be responsible for any physical, psychological and long term illness or injuries, or death as a result of attending any event.  Investigating the uncharted world of spiritual and paranormal activity can be hazardous and dangerous so all clients attend at their own risk.  Attendees must stay with their allocated group at all times and not take it upon themselves to wonder off or enter any area without the prior consent of a team member.  S.P.R.Cymru will have undertaken a complete Risk Assessment of the venue prior to the event; therefore there may be certain areas which are cordoned off for safety.  Any identified hazards will be highlighted at the beginning of the event.  Anyone found not following these Health and Safety instructions will be asked to leave and will be ineligible for any refund of monies paid.
  3. There are strictly no alcohol or drugs allowed at the event.  Anyone arriving under the influence will be refused entry to the event.  Anyone suspected of brining alcohol and/or drugs will also be asked to leave and any relevant action taken or investigation commenced.
  4. The event is open to individuals over the age of 16 only.  Due to the nature of the venues visited for events, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that they are physically capable of coping with the terrain and possible obstacles which may be present (i.e. narrow walk ways, steep stairs, uneven floors, etc.).  NB – Attendances by pregnant women is not recommended but please contact us for further information etc.
  5. There is a NO smoking policy indoors and on some events there is a No Smoking Policy within the grounds.  The team will advise on the smoking areas.  Please also ensure that no candles or other fire hazards are used during the event unless provided by S.P.R.Cymru.
  6. S.P.R.Cymru cannot be held accountable for participant’s belongings during an event.  Participants are advised not to bring any valuable items with them which they are unable to carry with them throughout the event or that which can be left unattended in the group holding area.
  7. Individuals are responsible for ensuring they have adequate warm clothing and appropriate footwear; many locations can be quite cold in the middle of the night and some floors may be uneven.  Use of torches is compulsory and individuals are also responsible for bringing their own torch for use during the event.
  8. This event is provided as a means of entertainment.  Please note that any stories about the location are not fabricated, and any information, advice or options etc. provided by our mediums or team members should be interpreted individually and not automatically deemed factual.  It must be noted that S.P.R.Cymru cannot guarantee that any spiritual or paranormal activity will take place during the event.
  9. S.P.R.Cymru will not be liable for any loss or damage to equipment belonging to the participants during and after the event, however caused.
  10. S.P.R.Cymru cannot accept responsibility for any accidents or incidents which occur after an event has ended.  Individuals are reminded that following a night time investigation tiredness can be common and we advise that you either secure accommodation where you can rest prior to travelling home or book transport home where participants are not required to drive.  Unless indicated, S.P.R.Cymru does not provide accommodation or transport for events.
  11. Occasionally, due to adverse weather or events beyond our control, events are cancelled or postponed.  If this occurs, S.P.R.Cymru will make every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund of payment.  If the event is moved or rescheduled, S.P.R.Cymru may set refund limitations.  Cancellations on the part of participants within 30 days of an event will result in no refund; cancellations over 30 days prior to an event will only be refunded at 50%.  All deposits are non-refundable; this is to cover our administration and deposit charges to our host locations.
  12. S.P.R.Cymru reserves the right to change, add or amend to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.  S.P.R.Cymru also reserves the right to change, add or amend any part of any event at any time.
  13. S.P.R.Cymru promotes this event as means of entertainment only.  Participants therefore agree to participate in a scientific experiment which could affect their conscious or subconscious mind.  Individuals must inform S.P.R.Cymru of any changes to their mental or physical status during and after the event, and acknowledge that they are completely responsible for their own actions and also their physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological health and well-being.
  14. Under UK Legislation introduced on 6th April 2008 S.P.R.Cymru must bring to your attention that “CPR” law; Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (2007) incorporating UCPD; Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.  The results of these experiments carried our during this event cannot be guaranteed neither can S.P.R.Cymru not guarantee paranormal activity occurring.
